Roumanian gallo

Big excitement. My Peperoncino Roumanian Gallo, that I grow for the first year is ready to taste. Here it is in the pot.
And here it is ready to be sampled :-)

The taste: Almost a little sweet, but with some heat. It's perfect to eat as it is, or sliced on crisp bread.

Wishing you a great week!

Chile de Arbol

Hi!

Chile de arbol is an old classic, but I have to admit that I have never grown it before. So this is the first year.

It had a rough start. It got spider mites when the plants were inside, but now it is recovering, and starting to set nice looking flowers. Hope to see a pod soon!

Hot regards from a warm Stockholm!

Chiles in Grövelsjön

Hi again!

We were up in the north last weekend. In the window of the mountain lodge at Grövelsjön, we found this plant :-) Totally unexpected to find peppers there!

Not very far away from the mountain lodge, there is the highest waterfall in Sweden. Njupeskär.

This is what I call a high quality lunch! Fantastic place!

Hot regards,

Other chiles in Stockholm

Hi!

There is a commuter boat crossing the lake Riddarfjärden. Some days I take the boat home.

Yesterday I noticed a plant in the captain's hut. A cup wth a chile pepper plant. I couldn't read it all, but it has careful instructions about how to water it.
Isn't it great. Even chile peppers on the lake :-)

Wishing you a great week!

Moving out all of them

Hi!

Today I'm throwing the dice, and move out the rest of the plants. Some are in better shape than others, but I think it will be fine.

Patricia asks the usual question. Where will we sit?

Wishing you a great weekend!
