Cleaning Thursday and getting ready for the radio garden show

Hi!

It's a cloudy Thursday morning, so I took the opportunity to clean the pots. I have noticed that the vermin lay their eggs in the flowerpot dishes (?). So I use steam to clean the dishes.

Not very scientific, but it's a great therapy :-) Here they are. Steamed and cleaned.

Also, don't miss today's radio show :-) http://www.kkup.org/calendar.htm
You can listen live on the Internet.

Hot regards,

Over-wintered varieties getting a root-cut

Hi again!

The light is returning, and with that, the plants in the kitchen windows start to grow. Before they get to big, I usually give them new soil, and offer them a har-cut, or rather - root-cut.

Here you can see the roots before.

And after. I cut the roots with a scissor, and cut off as much as I dare.
Here they are back in the kitchen window. Enjoying the sunlight.

Hot regards,
