Capsicum spring flowers

Hi!

Not really spring yet. But the overwintered varieties are flowering!

Bode roxa
Beautiful flowers on this Capsicum chinense.

And another one.

Roumanian Gallo
Capsicum annuum are rare in my windows. But this one made me curious. Looks like it soon will have a pod coming. This one is from this season. Three months ago, we started the seeds. Already flowers.

Congo yellow
I like the shape of this one. Like a street light.

Habanero yellow
More chinense. With a little luck, I can have fresh habaneros for midsummer :-)

Wild Brasil
Very different variety. The flowers really come in clusters. Here you can see a tiny pod shaping.

Wishing you a great week!

Congo yellow

Hi!

The first week in November has passed, and my Congo yellow, that is VERY late has started to flower again. It looks pretty healthy, so I hope it will make it through the winter.

Wishing you all a great week!

Hot regards,

Congo yellow

Hi!

I forgot to take a picture of the only pod that was ripe. I was so eager to taste it :-)

I don't know if it's because of the cold summer (someone said that July had the same average temperature as November last year), or if the pods of this variety usually are this small.

Nice heat and good taste. Don't they look nice :-)

Wishing you all a great weekend!
