Yes, maybe you are right. It's not all varieties that have this kind of monster leaves, so I wondered why. They seem very healthy and have some flower buds coming up.
In my experience this is most common with the superhots. I live north of the arctic circle (midnight sun - arctic night) and I've seen bigger leaves than that;)
Interesting! That's news for me, but it makes sense. The leaves on my black naga are also huge, while other varieties are more normal. So, let's hope for some sunshine soon. I've taken away all the extra lights because I "expected" some sunshine.... :-)
My guess is too little light, those chinenses do that.
