More from Brazil
More Brazilian varieties.
A mix of this and that. Here are som dedo de moca. Most of the dedo de mocas I tried were milder than the ones I have grown at home. I don't know why. They look the same, but the difference in heat level is very much noticeable.
Some malaguetas in the middle. A habanero in the back. And probably some other varieties. I got them all mixed up and the kind friend who gave them to me didn't separate them. Simply called them "pimentas" :-) Makes it more excitng for me :-)
I will see which condition they are in. Maybe I can sample some of them. They don't look super fresh...

Malagueta
I realize that I'm not completely trustworthy when I say "THIS IS MY FAVORITE"....
But malagueta is really one of my favorites.
The taste is great. It's good dried. It's good in olive oil.
And I think it's a beauty. Loot at the long stem on this picture!
And here. I think that it indicates a philosophy or opinion. Something like "I don't care what you think, I'm doing what I feel like :-)"
I brought these malaguetas from Brazil, so I didn't grow them this year. But maybe I will grow the seeds from them in 2014. Who knows. I haven't decided yet.
Wishing you all a nice week!

Aji Limon
Surprise!
My first chile pepper pictures for this year. I realized that when I uploaded the pictures of Aji Limon. Something must be wrong, I thought. But no. Lazy me :-)
Anyway. Last Saturday it was time to get rid of the BIG pot with the BIG plant that was residing in Carls room. So here it is. Just showing a fraction of it, because it was truly a BIG baccatum...
The warm autumn made my chile pepper year. So I got quite a nice harvest from this one. Here are some of the pods.
These chiles have a great taste. They are not very hot, but have that fantastic baccatum taste. A true favorite on crisp bread :-)

Chillibeans...
Another advertisement, but I'm not in any way connected to the company. I think it's a funny name, and it makes it even more funnier that they are selling ....
.. glasses.
Isn't it a wonderful world! :-)
Have a great weekend!

Hi again!
Another picture from Brazil :-) No ordinary tourist pictures here ...
Walking on the street, we passed a car. Talk about pattern recognition, but my eyes got caught on this sticker.. Don't know what it is about. Just that I liked the logotype :-)
