Rocopica flower

The rocopica is a pubescens/cardenasii cross. Its flowers are truly beautiful.

Repotting and harvest time

So my "Christmas Datil" has finally turned red. I think it is time to harvest tonight!



At the same time, half of the 2008 peppers are in their final large pots. With a little help from Carl.

First repotting

Time to repot malagueta, Pinched nose, Pimenta cambuci, aji yuquitania and goatsweed! Almost like spring in the air.

I believe I always say - "Aren't the plants growing faster than usual this year".



As always, they have stretched a little too much towards the light. So I repot them 'deep', leaving just the leaves over the soil.

First harvest

It's fantastic to be able to pick a ripe pepper in early June! The earliest I can remember from my previous years of growing chile peppers!

First day on the balcony

Sunshine and fairly warm today. So I decided to move the plants outside! Carl assisted :-)

Repotting

I repotted my two pubescens today. Locato and CAP 217.

Aji cohincho o Kitucho is also in a bigger pot now!

It looks like my Aji del monte o Putapario is going to have open flowers in a few days. That's really early, considering it's about 100 days ago I put the seeds in soil. Spring is coming!
